Young man gunned down in Northwestern Afghanistan


Local sources in the northwestern Afghan province of Herat reported that unidentified men shot a young man dead in the province’s Shindand district.

The sources familiar with the case told the media that the young man was gunned down in the Khwaja Naw village of Shindand district.. The sources say that Ramazan was shot and killed in the Shindand district of Herat, despite the fact that neither he nor his family had any personal animosity against anyone.

The motive of the crime materialized in Herat province is yet to be determined. The shooting of unidentified men that left a young man dead has not yet elicited a response from or formal statement from the Taliban security.—Khaama News Agency
