Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday prepared a report regarding its defeat in Cantonment Board elections in Lahore.
According to party sources, questions have been raised in the report over the development work being carried out in Lahore.
The report mentioned lack of development projects as the main reason behind PTI’s defeat in Lahore. The report revealed that the candidates have not visited their constituencies since 2018.
It is to be mentioned here that PTI has managed to grab three seats in Lahore while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) took six seats out of 10.
According to unofficial results of 212 wards across the country, PTI emerged as winner at 60 seats while PML-N secured 59 seats. Independent candidates remained third with 55 seats.
