Yasmin approves appointments against vacant posts in hospitals

Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid on the recommendations of selection board has granted approvals for appointment of officers and doctors from grade sixteen to grade twenty during syndicate meeting.
She presided over 15th syndicate meeting at FJMU on Monday Vice Chancellor FJMU Prof. Dr. Amir Zaman Khan, Vice Chancellor UHS Prof. Javed Akram, Members Punjab Assembly Ummul Baneen Ali and Ayesha Nawaz, officers of SH&ME, Finance, Law & Parliamentary Affairs, HEC, MS Ganga Ram Hospital, Principal College of Nursing Ganga Ram, Registrar FJMU and other officers participated in the meeting. Syndicate Members took important decisions during the meeting under the chair of Dr. Yasmeen Rashid.
Approval for the appointment in dermatology department of Ganga Ram hospital, appointment of a specialist for mother and child block as well as appointment of assistant professor neurosurgery of the university was also granted. Enhancement of fee of private nursing institutions for the courses in FJMU as well as appointment of consultant planning in Government Teaching Hospital Shahdra was also approved. Dr. Yasmeen Rashid said that a circular should written to the finance department for the up-gradation of the post of assistant audit officer from grade sixteen to grade seventeen. Paperwork should also be completed for granting six months extension to more than 100 officials of FJMU.
She further stated that representatives of finance department should submit their recommendations for giving pension fund to the officials of FJMU. Approval was also granted for appointing members of selection committee for nursing college during the syndicate meeting. Dr. Yasmeen Rashid inaugurated new child ward at Ganga Ram hospital and also reviewed medical facilities being provided over there.
