A two-day workshop on US-Pakistan Universities Partnership Program 2020-22 concluded at Women University Multan today with the theme “Sharing Experiences among Universities and Highlighting Faculty Capabilities”. On the last day, Dr. Afzal, Director, ORIC, Karakoram University, gave a lecture on the importance of a dynamic and sustainable ecosystem for entrepreneurship. He also stressed the role of different stakeholders in promoting entrepreneurship and how industrial transitions are needed to support innovative entrepreneurship in different sectors.
He talked about the importance of networking and how to build a successful business ecosystem. Addressing the last session, the special guest of the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr.Uzms Quraishi said that it is necessary to organize such a workshop to enhance the teaching skills and capacity building of faculty to play a significant role in student development. She said that in this workshop we have been successful in creating awareness about the business ecosystem. In the end MoU was also signed between Women University Multan and Karakoram University. Vice Chancellor Dr. Ataullah Khan and Registrar Dr. Qamar Rubab signed the MoU at the ceremony.
Through this MoU both the universities will collaborate in the field of training and capacity building of youth and other professionals in the areas of community work to promote teaching, education and peace, tolerance and harmony.The ceremony was attended by , Dr Maryam Zain ,Dr. Sadia Irshad , Ms. Nosheen Tareen and other teachers were also present on the occasion.
The two days training workshop was organized by Centre of Professional development , Women University Multan.
