World culture festival dazzles with classical dance at ACP

World Culture Festival 2024, organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, continues to delight audiences with its celebration of global cultural diversity. On the 16th day of the festival, a captivating evening of classical dance titled “The Sound of Tinkling Bells” took center stage at Auditorium I.

The event was graced by the Russian Consul General, Andrey Viktorovich Fedorov, adding an international presence to the evening. Esteemed dancer Sheema Kermani opened the performance with a powerful rendition of a poem by the late poetess Fahmida Riaz, titled “Aao Hum Watnon Raqs Karo.” Kermani, accompanied by a group of gifted performers, delivered a mesmerizing performance that enchanted the audience and showcased the beauty of classical dance.

With Kermani’s artistic grace and the cultural richness of the performances, the night was unforgettable for dance enthusiasts. The World Culture Festival will continue to showcase vibrant cultural events and performances until November 2.
