Workers can vie for any party post Finally ‘N’ decides on city chapter reorganisation

The PML-N, at last, has decided reorganization of the party Lahore chapter and will select candidates for 30 city constituencies of the Punjab Assembly after extensive interviews and scrutiny.
According to sources, form for the reorganization will be available at PML-N Lahore office from August 5, 2020 and every worker can vie any post of the party city organization.
The party leadership will address a press conference to brief media on the reorganization process. The party will constitute a board, which will scrutinize the forms after submission and interview candidate. The reorganization process in all the constituencies of the city will be completed by September 5,2020. According to sources, the party reorganization has been decided after approval by central leader Hamza Shehbaz.
It is to be mentioned here that the PML-N has been announcing reorganization since the number of city constituencies has been increased to 30 before 2018 general election, which could not be materialized due to one reason or the other.
Meanwhile, PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal said that there is political uncertainty in the country due to poor performance and bad governance of the PTI government. However, we cannot mobilize the masses against the government at the moment due to coronavirus threat, he pointed out, adding that the PML-N will launch a mass public campaign once the coronavirus situation returned to normalcy.
About return of PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif, Ahsan Iqbal claimed that platelets situation of Nawaz Sharif is improved. However, he has to undergo a cardiac surgery and as soon as doctors give him a fitness certificate, he will return to the country to the lead the masses, he added.
He said that no any political power or national institution could ignore public opinion and therefore, every Pakistan should think about playing due role for betterment of the country.
