Work under way for computerised Land Record centre


The computerisation of urban land records in Punjab by the government was underway in order to ensure secure and safe services to public through urban land record codification system.

Talking to APP here at her office, Land Record Officer Sargodha division, Shehla Noreen on Saturday said that Sargodha land record centre, as per instructions of Punjab government, was working at full pace to complete digital system based centre.

Although rural land records had already been digitalized in Punjab, and under this project, urban and rural computerized records would be linked with digital geographic maps, she added.

“Computerization of all rural as well as urban land records of Punjab would create an integrated system of land administration”. —APP
