Work on removal of wild growth/vegetation from parks, grounds, green belts, sectoral area, business centers and others areas of the federal capital continued on Wednesday and the operation is being conducted through coordinated efforts of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT Administration, MCI and Capital Development Authority (CDA)
Staff of Parks Directorate in this connection is clearing vegetation and wild growth from different parks including F-9 Park, Japanese Park, Lakeview Park and other parks of the city. Most of the area of F-9 Park has been cleared while work is in progress till clearance of whole park. Similarly, wild grass and vegetation from F-8 Markaz, green belt along with the Margalla Road, PRC Chowk, Kashmir Highway, Pakistan Monument, 10th Avenue and other areas has been cleared.
In addition to this, pruning of trees in sector G-9/2, G-9/4, Barri Imam and other areas has also been completed while work in the other areas is in progress.
