Women university organizes singing competition

Rawalpindi Women University, Media club organised “Creative Singing Competition” to promote positive values and multiculturalism among students.

Correspondingly, participants healthy rivalry to eachother during each round made it tougher for the judges to select.

Final round gave us brilliant voices winners which are:First position was given to Tabeer Zahra (F.A part 2). Second position was given to Areeba Sajid (F.A part 2).Third position was acquired by Kashaf Owais (BS English 3rd Semester)

Trophies and certificates were distributed to the winners by Dr.Asma Zahoor and the judging panel.

Afterwards national song “Iss parcham ke sayee tale”was played to promote multiculturalism among students at university. Participants were attirring cultural dress and sang along the song.

At the end, Dr.Asma zahoor gave vote of thanks to the judges and appreciated the contestants and organisers for pulling out successfully a great event. Group photo was taken with Vice Chancellor of Rawalpindi Women University Prof. Dr. Anila kamal. She also admired and acknowledged the winning contestants and the organisers from Mass Communication department 5th Semester.
