ISLAMABAD – A viral video was all over the internet, showing a furious woman hitting a traffic police officer in the capital after a heated debate.
The viral video caused outrage online, as people were calling for her arrest for attempting to run over a cop.
In latest update, the woman has been arrested now. The accused was apprehended from the capital and shifted to Rawalpindi for further legal proceedings.
Earlier, Islamabad police clarified that the incident occurred in January. In the clip, the police officer can be seen filming the women sitting in White Honda Civic. She also abused an on-duty police officer before hitting one of them.
The case was registered against the woman in Nasirabad Police Station on the complaint of the Motorway Police personnel.
