A woman poisoned her husband to death over domestic disputes in Chak 570 GB of Faisalabad, police said on Thursday.

According to details, Manzooran Bibi informed police that her son Nasir got married to Nazia Bibi and started living with in-laws after wedding. The woman said that in-laws telephoned her that Nasir had died when she reached their, body of her son had turned blue.

The police investigated Nazia Bibi and her parents but they refused of having any information regarding reasons of death.

However, postmortem report proved that Nasir was poisoned to death after which police registered a case against Nazia Bibi, her parents and started investigations.—INP
