ISLAMABAD – Residents of Islamabad can now verify, review, and submit complaints against incorrect or disputed e-challans through a dedicated facility established at the ICT Police counter in the Pakistan Asaan Khidmat Center.
The facility allows vehicle owners to obtain complete challan details through their vehicle registration number.
Citizens who believe they have received an incorrect or disputed traffic challan can submit a formal complaint for review.
The service also provides access to a verified review of camera evidence, including relevant footage or images linked to the challan. In addition, citizens can receive guidance on the online payment process for e-challans.
The facility has been introduced under the Tech Destination Pakistan initiative of the Ministry of IT and Telecom, with support from the National Information Technology Board (NITB).
Authorities have also urged citizens to follow traffic laws, highlighting the initiative as part of efforts to improve road safety and make Islamabad a safer city.
Islamabad’s E-Challan System
Islamabad’s e-challan system is a technology-based traffic enforcement mechanism designed to improve monitoring and accountability on city roads.
The system uses digital methods to record traffic violations and issue electronic challans to vehicle owners. Through online services and dedicated support facilities, citizens can check challan details, review evidence, understand payment procedures, and raise concerns over disputed violations.
The digital approach aims to make traffic enforcement more transparent, reduce manual processes, and provide greater convenience to the public. It also supports efforts to encourage compliance with traffic regulations and promote safer road practices across Islamabad.
