Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar distributed wheelchairs to special children of 15 police employees with the support of a private welfare organization (Milestone). A ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to distribute wheelchairs to special children of police officers, in which program manager of the private welfare organization Ali Hamza and other officials were also present. 09 employees of Lahore Police were given wheelchairs for their special children. One official from each Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Kasur, Telecommunication, PC and PHP was given a wheelchair for their children. These children of police employees were unable to walk due to polio, paralysis or other diseases. A private welfare organization has developed special wheelchairs keeping in mind the physical disabilities of each child. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar thanked the private organization for supporting the welfare of children of police employees.
