The new policy aims to create a consistent way to evaluate student performance. It is designed to prepare students for future educational challenges by introducing them to grading systems similar to those used in universities, like grade point averages (GPA).
Students are also excited to be assessed their own progress and boost their motivation.
Meanwhile, stigma surrounding cheating in Sindh remains despite assurances from board officials and provincial government. Those familiar with development called for systemic reforms to promote academic integrity, provide better support for students, and prioritize genuine learning over grades.
