The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), is thrilled to announce the 12th edition of WexNet 2024 and the 18thOIC Trade Fair. This premier event, dedicated to showcasing the exceptional talents of Pakistan’s women entrepreneurs, will be held at the Lahore Expo Center from November 29 to December 1, 2024.
Delegates and business representatives from 21 OIC member countries will also participate in the event, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Sudan, Indonesia, Morocco, Mali, Malaysia, and Nigeria. This trade fair is expected to enhance bilateral trade activities between Pakistan and other Islamic nations.
WEXNET 2024 is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs in Pakistan, with over 300 participants showcasing a diverse range of products and services, surpassing last year’s turnout. The exhibition features textiles, apparel, jewelry, handicrafts, cookware, herbal skincare, e-commerce, and export-ready goods.
Esteemed participants include Elum Traditional Arts, Indus Hunar, Maqbool Foods, and many more, representing the talent and innovation of women-led ventures. Vocational training institutions like Sanat Zar and Qasr-e-Bahbood will also contribute, offering attendees an inspiring glimpse into heritage crafts, contemporary designs, and sustainable solutions, reflecting the vibrant creativity of Pakistan’s women entrepreneurs.
