Weather outlook of Lahore, Punjab; isolated rains expected

LAHORE – Intermittent rains are expected in parts of Punjab on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the western and upper parts of Pakistan.
Under these weather conditions, partly cloudy weather is expected in upper districts of the province on Tuesday night. Rains are expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Mandi Bahawaldin, Khushab, Mianwali, Taunsa, Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan and surroundings.

On Wednesday, mainly dry weather is expected in most districts of the province. However, rains may occur at isolated places in Murree and Galliyat during afternoon.

Lahore’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 33-35°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, rains occurred in parts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Bahawalpur remained the hottest place in Punjab where the maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C.
In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 34°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 52 per cent.
