Weather outlook of Karachi, Sindh; fog sets in plains

KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather across Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad during the next two days.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

A shallow trough is present over northern parts of the country.

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night and the next two days.

Smog/fog is likely to prevail in Jacobabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu and Ghotki during morning and night hours.

In Karachi, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 15-17 C on Monday and 14-16 C on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over most districts of the province during the last 24 hours.

Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 08 C.

Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 94 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C.

Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 59 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C.

Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 75 per cent.
