We stand united in Dewali celebration: CM Murad

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah extended Diwali greetings to the Hindu community across Sindh and around the world, wishing them a joyful celebration. “Sindh is a land of peace and love, where all religions freely celebrate their festivals,” he remarked. Describing Diwali as a festival of lights and happiness, he emphasized, “We stand as equal partners with our Hindu brothers in their celebrations.” Highlighting the Pakistan Peoples Party’s commitment to minority representation, he noted that the PPP has ensured the inclusion of minority members in government and other administrative bodies. “Minorities in Sindh enjoy equal rights, with the protection guaranteed by Pakistan’s constitution,” he stated, pointing out that Sindh now has two Hindu representatives in the General Assembly and a Christian Deputy Speaker. The CM assured that the Sindh government is dedicated to protecting the rights of all minorities and addressing their legitimate concerns on a priority basis. He extended warm wishes to the Hindu community for Diwali, reaffirming his support for their well-being and happiness.
