Water crisis in Zimbabwe

1880

I am disheartened by the irresponsible behaviour of the ZANU PF government which is failing to improve water systems in Zimbabwe. As this week is the World Water Week, it is important to voice concern about water crisis in Zimbabwe. Lake Chivero in Zimbabwe is well known as the most polluted lake in world but still supply water to Harare residents.
Lack of chlorination to water from Lake Chivero has caused many water borne diseases such as Cholera, Diarrhoea and Typhoid Fever. The ZANU PF leaders should admit that they have failed to run the country well because access to water is a basic need that Zimbabweans should be enjoying.
