NARAN – Several hotels and houses were reportedly buried under avalanche following the Glacier burst in Naran, one of the top tourist spots in northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
DG Kaghan Development Authority, Mohammad Shabir Khan confirmed the development while talking to media, adding that no casualty was reported in the incident, which occurred on Jheel road.
Locals said the glacier burst came after weeks of heavy snowfall in the region.
The Naran road beyond Phaldran is currently closed due to the snowfall. A local from Naran filmed the incident and it has now become viral on social media.

Reports said several other hotels also suffered significant damages after they were hit by avalanche.
Tourists cannot travel to Naran and other nearby areas during this season as roads are closed due to heavy snowfall. It will start reopening from April end or May for tourism.
