Pakistani former TV host, and social media influencer Waqar Zaka remained off the screen for mainstream channels for some time as the crypto enthusiast decided against minting dollars from his reality shows, and social media reaction videos and decided to do something big.
Waqar remained involved in various ventures in his multi-dimensional career. From hosting a reality show to starting an online academy for cryptocurrency, the activist has a lot on his plate.
An alumnus of NED University of Engineering and Technology, Waqar remained busy with his new venture and that’s at no ordinary place but at esteemed Stanford University, with the aim of bringing technological advancement in Pakistan – a country that is facing brain drain amid political and economic crisis.
Stanford remained the one of prestigious institutions, and finding any path at the 132-year-old institution is a hard nut to crack. As Stanford focused on pioneer research, catalyzing discovery, and accelerating solutions, Waqar found his right path and now urged youth to invest in education, and rightfully so.
During his time in the US, Zaka, without enrolling in a regular degree program, made it to Stanford Ignite – a program that provides the business fundamentals you need to succeed at any entrepreneurial venture.
At the leading university, Waqar spends most of his time, rubbing shoulders with finest people across the globe. From machine learning to Metaverse, he is having a lot of exposure to explore the boundaries of knowledge.
Waqar, once a known face in Pakistani showbiz, started his new endeavor with passion and what drives him is his world-changing ideas, that he wants to work on. The multi-millionaire challenged himself to do something that will change this world, and he is on it!
As people from parts of the world push to make it to Stanford, Waqar gratifies the honor of being inducted into the esteemed institution. Fascinatingly, he remained the first to join the program from Pakistan.
Among the alumni of Stanford are top tech pioneers, like those who formed LinkedIn, and Snapchat, and by joining the same institution, Waqar is also looking to do something impactful. During his journey, the crypto nerd is trying to do something inspirational and hoped his journey to be somewhat inspiring. The quadragenarian influencer wants Pakistani youth to focus on education, calling on Gen-Z to challenge them to bring real change in the country.
Waqar believed ‘Never settle, always strive for more’ mantra and this is what he advised the upcoming generation, which makes up over 60 percent of total population.
Previously, Waqar announced his intention to launch a political organisation and he already came up with the name ‘Technology Movement Pakistan’.
