Senior Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Altaf Hussain Wani, extending heartfelt greetings to Muslim Ummah, has appealed the Kashmiri people to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with austerity and take care of less-privileged segment of the society.
In his statement in Islamabad said, the true spirit of Eid-ul-Adha lies in sharing and caring for the less-privileged and poor people who deserve to be remembered and supported on this auspicious occasion.
Referring to the victims of Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory, he said, there are thousands of orphans, families of martyrs and jailed Hurriyat activists, who really deserve to be supported.
He said, “Eid-ul-Adha, which gives us the concept of sharing and caring, also reminds us of our political, moral and religious obligations towards the national cause for which hundreds and thousands of Kashmiris have laid down their lives.”—KMS
