The newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) South Waziristan Lower Farman Ullah conducted a surprise visit to the adjacent outposts/ Checkpoints including Wana City police station (PD), DPO reviewed the law and order and security arrangements in detail. SHO Wana City Police Station gave a detailed briefing about the security arrangements and law and order, on which the DPO expressed satisfaction.

While speaking, the DPO said that the police officers are responsible for the lives and property of the people and it is our duty to fulfill the responsibility properly. People’s lives and property will be protected only then, with a positive change in the attitudes of the citizens towards the police, it will lead to more respect for the department.
Police officers should take care of the sanctity of the self-respect of all the dignitaries of the area, but with the cooperation of the regional elders, take full action against the criminal elements and the cooperation of the tribal elders will be helpful in keeping the society free from crime.
