Climate justice now
Never before in whole human history, have we been more richer or powerful and yet we feel overwhelmed due to rapid climate change, the crisis of our time. Temperature is rising world-wide due to greenhouse gas emissions trapping more heat in the atmosphere. Droughts are becoming longer and extreme, there is rapid flooding of coastal regions due to melting ice sheets and glaciers.
Human activities from pollution to overpopulation are driving up the earth temperature and fundamentally changing the world around us. 95% cause of climate change is human activity which leads to warmer winters and harsher summers, dry places become drier and wet places wetter.
We started breaking CO2 records in 1950 and we have not stopped yet which has warmed the planet at an alarming rate. 2nd cause of climate change is change in global population which has tripled in the last 70 years.
Some of the effects of climate change are increasing temperature, forest fire or wildfire, higher wildlife extinction rates, droughts, increasing smog, floods, rising sea levels causing sinking of coastal regions such as Jakarta in Indonesia, smog causing more allergies and other health risks, intense storm damages and water shortages, reduced agricultural yields, flooding and erosion in coastal areas are additional concerns. Food we eat, the streets we walk on, the clothes we wear, the gadget we use, the way we move and the pleasant temperature around us everything affects climate.
The question is how to change lifestyle to prevent rapid climate change? We can use following strategies to stop climate change: invest in renewable and divest from fossil fuels, drive a fuel-efficient vehicles, use public transport, establishment of wildlife corridors to prevent wildlife extinction, re-forestation and forestation, protect forests like Amazon, make plastic reduction a legal requirement, use energy wisely, Reuse-Don’t just recycle, use energy-efficient appliances. We should spread awareness to prevent our destroying planet and we need climate justice right now.

The Shiv Sena has always been a goonda party since the time of the late Bal Thackeray and will remain a goonda party forever. During all the three lockdowns in the state of Maharashtra, only those working in government offices were allowed to travel by local trains. The others had to make it on foot or go by private cabs.
All private offices were also closed down and those working on daily wages suffered a lot because they were not provided with free meals by the state government. The state government even promised to provide free ration to the needy but it was not given. Those people who wanted an investigation against actor Sushant Singh Rajput were even arrested and put behind bars.
During all the three lockdowns, people had to go hungry because they were not allowed to walk on the road in order to buy groceries. Those found walking were caught by the police and beaten terribly with batons. Even women and children were not spared. Those people not wearing a face mask were even fined. Reports show that the Maharashtra government has collected over Rs 5 crore from mask-less people as of date. These are just a few reasons. There are a lot more.

Kids financial literacy
Financial literacy for kids is about ensuring that your child is educated in the best way to manage finances. This is a way of securing their future. This is because they will be able to learn how to manage money in all possible ways. They make lessons on money management to children easy and also fun to learn. Behavioural researches from Cambridge university encourage parents to start teaching their kids about money as young as 3.
There are developmentally appropriate ways to help your kids begin to understand personal finance and credit cards at every stage of childhood. Money is good for nothing unless you know the value of it by experience.
The figures have shown that total debt on Pakistan is about PKR 50.5 trillion at the end of September 2021 an addition of PKR 20.7 trillion in the past 39 months. Young Children can perform tasks to earn money for their spending plans. Children need to distinguish between shared responsibilities as members of a family, and responsibilities that earn them money. This lesson introduces young children to activities and ideas for earning money. Children learn that money is a reward for working. Kids’ financial education is the need of the hour. It is very important to groom kids with financial literacy to give them a bright and wealthy future.

Growing pauperism
It’s heartbreaking to see the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer. The plight of poor and middle-class families is dire. They are suffering from certain problems. Almost every constitutional right held by an individual agency is violated. They face lack of education, good health care, hygiene, employment, etc; the list is not complete.
In addition, the soaring inflation is touching the sky. One would get flabbergasted, how do they still survive. The sorry state of affairs has reached a level that they crave for nothing more than two times food. I request the government to look into the matter and take tangible measures to solve the problem.
