Fake medicines

As we all know many people are doing business of fake medicines. Because of fake medicines, people’s life is at great risk. In Balochistan, it has become very common and people are making new ways of earning money. Due to fake medicines, individual lives are being destroyed. Hence, most people are attached to companies that provide fake medicines but they never think about precious lives.

Unfortunately doctors only think about earning money but don’t care about people lives. Such fake medicines have a lot of side effects causing difficulties for people. So, it is my request to authorities to start checking all medical stores that are selling fake medicines.

Low female literacy rate

Female literacy rate in Balochistan is the lowest. There are very few educational institutions in Balochistan where women can get education. Women in Balochistan are lacking basic rights for education, and not only that but men are also facing similar problems to get easy access to education. In most of the areas only primary education is available and thus for secondary education they have to travel for miles.

Illiteracy of women is putting a negative impact on society. Women play a vital role for development of a society.

Pakistan’s record in the field of education has always remained unsatisfactory. It is backward from other countries because it has low percentage of GDP being spent on education. Also public sector expenditure on education is only 2.4% that is lowest than all countries.

In Pakistan low quality education is a big problem. Actually, due to failure in education sector today Pakistan is facing multiple obstacles in its life. Therefore, poverty, unemployment, inequality distribution of income and many others are out of control today. The main reason behind is corruption.

According to a media report, out of total educational institutions one third are without buildings, boundary walls and necessary facilities lacking. For positive image of this country in world, education is the way to achieve it.

Women role

No nation can progresses without due role being played by women. As Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah said that no nation can rise to height of glory unless its women are side by side with men. We often think that women are inferior to men, but it is our misconception. Women can do what they want. A great writer said, “If you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.” This saying means that the knowledge of women is always distributed to youth of the nation.

Women’s goodness is nation’s goodness. If they are stable, they put in their best efforts to make their nation grow. Thus, respect women and your nation will be respected. Without stability of women a nation can never develop. We should educate every woman from every home. If they are given equal opportunities they will shape a successful nation in the world.

Financial crisis

Pakistan is reeling under galloping and snowballing economic duress these days as the current account deficit continues to surge along with inflation-storm and regrettably the exchange rate is below the unrelenting overstressed, however, the casual way in which this situation is described as a “financial crisis” in our discourse needs to halt. The stresses are there, and they are growing horrendously, and the country is unable to dodge the need for resumption of the IMF program at the earliest, but nothing happening today can be described as a “financial crisis”.

For a clearer idea of what a financial crisis really looks like we should take a look at countries like Kazakhstan, Turkey or Lebanon. All of these countries have witnessed social pandemonium and turmoil and downturn of the economic growth to the great deal where day to day life of the citizens is colossally impacted. In Lebanon,to illustrate— the government doubled the exchange rate for dollar withdrawals from foreign currency accounts overnight, sending charged mobs into bank branches clamouring to withdraw their holdings fearing a freezing of the accounts.

The black market rate for dollars reached 20 times the official rate. Inflation hit 174 percent in October with no clue of abating and subsiding. Mammoth paucity of fuel and medicines exit everywhere since the country imports 80 percent of its requisite and vital supplies and providing. According to an estimate, 77,000 people have fled the country as refugees over the last year as the crisis began to enhance, with the disgruntled country struggled to reach concordant with the IMF for a bailout. This is what a financial crisis looks like.

The riots in Kazakhstan may well have been long in the making, but they were stimulated and triggered by the removal of a price cap on LPG that had become a fuel of choice for many citizens as oil prices spiked. The cap dismal swiftly doubled the price but the government argued they had no choice since the cap was leading to shortages. The snowballing intensity of the frigid riots was so severe as to actuate an appeal for assistance from immediate regions, leading to a swift and immediate deployment of “Russian battalion” to put down the avoidable disturbances and chaos. This is what a financial crisis looks like…

Mini budget

The mini budget always strangles populace of the country. Some propositions of mini budget are extremely against interest of people with lower income. Following provisions are: (1) 350 b new taxes have been imposed. (2) Total withdrawn tax exemption is equal to 343b, a direct loss to people. (3) Sales Tax on most of the products has increased. It’s clear that burden of indirect taxes falls on consumers. Opposition has yelled yet PTI government has no way out other than following IMF dictates.

Incumbent government has failed to improve country’s economic situation. Although, due to PTI some changes have come up which is the ‘Tabdeli’ for which Imran Khan made claims in every speech.
