Atrocious murder of a Sri Lankan
This atrocious brutality of the killing of a Sri Lankan GM of an export garment/sports manufacturing factory located in Sialkot was an incident waiting to happen.
Can somebody in the district administration, police and labour department explain why political party posters are allowed to be pasted within industrial units, especially those producing export items, which are also subject to inspection of international monitoring by brand manufacturers.
Whatever that is left of our garment export revenue is likely to be impacted. Those at helm must realise their role in factors, which contributed to rise in extremism in Pakistan and today poses a serious threat to national security and interest.
On 27 October, armed private militia of TLP activists murdered over 9 policemen and injured over 250 through straight firing by automatic weapons including AK-47 etc. near Sadhoke Gujranwala.
The irony is that these extremist militants, declared as banned outfit, because of frequent resort to violence, and yet for some strange reason the police was ordered to be unarmed equipped with batons, tear gas guns etc.
Despite all this on 1st November an agreement was negotiated. All TLP activists were released and there is likely to be no headway in the cases against those accused of armed with AK-42 and submachine guns.
When the State and its security institutions are either seen to surrender authority of State to such criminals or consider them as their assets for political manoeuvrings, then police cannot be expected to stand up and maintain law & order or prevent such brutal acts by activists affiliated with TLP.
Now that the TLP has been allowed to take part in electoral politics the ECP and Federal Government must ensure that neither their flag nor posters carry the slogan written on the poster that was pasted in Sialkot garment factory, whose removal became grounds of alleged blasphemy charges leading to this brutality.
The Federal and Provincial government must not be seen to be apologetic by issuing statements insinuating that emotions might have risen by removal of a political poster that exploited religion.

Happiness lies in gratitude
Never be sad about anything in life because sometimes the blessings are disguised. Although this modern world has generated a lot of ease for the people of every country dimensionally, yet here every single person has his own list of grievances despite one’s life being so better than others.
This is owing to a lack of gratitude. Living a life sans gratitude makes it even worse because the thing we don’t value is confiscated shortly.
A thorough glimpse in the past demonstrates that societies in the past lived a life with a lot of salubriousness and happiness which are now merely a pipe-dream for today’s society.
Every person leaves no stone unturned to bring happiness in one’s life because owing to utopian rhetoric that happiness comes if one has wealth and prosperity which is but a whim.
Happiness comes when a person lives a life with gratitude and with limited expectations towards it. That is the reason the past societies had a great life owing to limiting their expectations and paying gratitude for every single blessing.
Happiness lies in gratitude for every single blessing one is gifted with. That is the deepest secret of life to live is salubrious. The sage one uttered that therapy limits your expectations for a life that matches one mindset.

Victimising Hazaras
There is no point of denial that Hazaras are actually molested and tortured everywhere. From the horrifying past to the present, Hazaras story reminds of constant brutality, inequality, injustice and discrimination.
In order to survive, they had to isolate themselves as a result of which they lost their political, social and economic status in the state. After every few days, they are victims of torture killing and justice for them is delayed and denied.
I wonder why we don’t take all of the nationals as one Pakistanis. The PTI government should try to understand the tears of helpless Hazaras and ensure that they get their constitutional rights.

Drug addiction
Drug addiction in Pakistan is in top number where number of youth is addicted of different drugs weather that is alcohol, marijuana, heroin or crystal bringing catastrophic impact to our society.
However, the ratio of drug addicts is swelling day by day in various areas of the country. Turbat city is a major point for drug addicts where dozens of people daily become victim of drug addiction.
Indeed, youth is future of every country and they should not be ignored and efforts must be made to save them from this evil and those hooked should be rehabilitated. It is the duty of state institutions to play dynamic role for protection of our youth.
