Sub-lethal psyche
Where the dynamic societies in the globe have gone up high, but here in our society, no one is trying to uplift oneself to have progress and bring change in one’s psyche for having competence to the developed ones.
There are much more causes of being backward, so, no such words cannot sum it up succinctly. Here everyone wants to be successful, have a luxurious lifestyle, be free from the chaos of life and most of all having tranquillity, but sadly, their dreams remain pipe-dreams.
Henceforth, a small amount of efforts and struggles do not bring so much prosperity but make one capable to be self sufficient.
Fib, misconception, egotism, backbiting, mammoth plausibility of prosperity and possessions, hypocrisy and opportunism keep deteriorating somebody’s esteem and faith are yet other social evils keep worsening the kinship midst
The feeling of envy brings nothing but a moment of sadness and the loom clouds of grievance, though it means that one who is jealous of someone is actually backward from that person.
Superiority complex is yet another factor of being a retrograde individually, resultantly; it also pulls out a society towards itself. The feeling of ethnocentricity pops up deteriorating feelings for others, like, inferiority complex and self insufficiency.

What we import?
Pakistan imports more than 16 essential and non-essential items including daily use eatables from different foreign countries and their values keep fluctuating.
Eatables items we import from foreign countries include tea, refined sugar, edible oil, grains, pulses and flour. Basically, Pakistan basically is an agricultural country and it is simply shameful that we import even food items from foreign countries.
Quite obviously prices of these commodities keep varying with frequent fluctuations in the international market and we keep consuming these more and more while raising hue and cry over price hike and inflation and showing no consideration whatsoever to economic principle of supply and demand and trying to consume the imported items to the barest minimum possible.
Nobody including the politicians belonging to the opposition parties while protesting against price hike of essential daily use items are seeing urging the people to show some resistance and keep the bitter fact about ever-growing population subsequently leading to more and more feeding mouths in the country.
No political leader is seen roaming in the streets and visiting shops to personally inquire essential items prices.
Pakistan Bureau of Statistics keeps issuing prices of essential articles on a weekly basis as prices of how many items increased, remained stable and reduced during the period under report. But politicians, electronic media only highlight and raise hue and cry over the items whose prices had been increased.
Pakistan had imported grains, pulses and flour worth Rs.48691 million in 2011-12, Rs. 77535 million in 2015-16, Rs.112183 million in 2019-20 respectively.
Does not these ever increasing figures force us to do some thinking and try to consume as less as essentially required. We should all be working on keeping the imports on the lesser side and increasing the exports with every passing day as a national obligation.

future of Afghanistan
The fate of Afghanistan is yet questionable and is under ambiguity. A few critical questions are popping up in every intellectual mind that is experiencing and seeing mammoth masses surrounded and trapped with chaotic and precarious atmosphere.
Who will resolve the miseries of Afghanistan?, who would be ameliorating the socio-politico and economic pitfalls of Afghanistan? These questions should not be shrugged off at any cost.
It would not be amiss to say that the future of Afghanistan lies in its own hands. Nevertheless, Afghanistan has already seen a spate of invasions and destruction of massive scale. It has been ruled by many foreign powers, albeit unsuccessfully.
The withdrawal of the US troops from Afghanistan and abjuring of Ashraf Ghani, former President of Afghanistan, of the presidential palace, resulted in recalcitrant ambiances: erecting gigantic stumbling blocks of darkness and tyranny for Afghan plebs. Masses are enduring untold miseries and crises of utmost.
Therefore, the Taliban should dabble in the betterment of Afghanistan, and formulate such a strategy which can obliterate the chaotic situation in the country.
Further, It would be pertinent to declare that the glowing future of Afghanistan imbibes in the hands of its own rulers.
There is a mere need for meticulous and sincere efforts from the Taliban to bring massive prosperity and gigantic developments to the country.
Nevertheless, if they continued to prevail over their antiquated and inveterate norms and traditions to petrify and exploit plebs in the country, it would be an extremely Herculean task for the general masses to get rid of the despotic and scathing rule of the Taliban.
Needless to say, if Taliban remain fence-sitter and fanatic orthodox, it will prod masses to clamour for their fundamental rights— to satiate their empty bellies—, which could result in even more formidable and terrible situations.
