our world
Our beautiful world has been going through numerous problems out there. For instance, climate crisis, climate migration and crop failure have been nagging the world and the human race for quite some time. In the recent “one-on-one” on CNN, Bill Gates was seriously talking about the climate crisis across the globe and immediate steps needed to stop the problem escalating into a catastrophic form.
On the other side, I had recently bumped into an informative yet heartrending article about the climate migration in the New York Times Magazine online. That serious article was shedding light on the climate migration caused by climate crisis and also talking about the people affected – called climate migrants/refugees.
In particular, countries from Central America and Latin America like Mexico and Guatemala have been facing issues like crop failure and climate refugees. Many reports have confirmed that such countries as Guatemala have been literally in the midst of those climate change-related issues despite being home to the vast green areas and natural vistas. One can say that the long-lasting political impasse and ineffective regimes have only added to the mass problems.
Thinking of the crop failure due to the climate crisis, it is really high time to stop overlooking such serious issues and take steps to mitigate. The food we have been taking and the economic boom each country has been pining for are all inter-related. They have been the direct results from the robust agriculture activities. Despite various issues and possible challenges, the people in my native areas like Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu have been able to do their agricultural activities – because of reliable water sources and financial backup.

Follow SOPs
The third wave of Covid-19 has arrived in Pakistan. However, unfortunately, many people are still not following SOPs. The people are ignoring SOPs and have forgotten that coronavirus is here.
The govt should take strict measures to ensure that everyone is following SOPs. We will face grave consequences if we continue with our carelessness.

Respect of women
To treat our women with respect is paramount and as concerned citizens, we should maintain it.
In the sectors of business, politics and cultural orientation, there should be fairness so that women can pursue their dreams in employment and leadership.

Drug addiction
It is a bitter fact that a large number of our young generation use drugs. We can see a huge number of heroin-addicts in our societies, public areas and parks. Men, women, and even children beg money from people and buy the daily dose of heroin. The most heart breaking thing is that it is in the knowledge of government. But the mafia is so strong that no one can stop the sale and purchase of such type of abusive drugs. The dealers and smugglers have a long chain of connections. Their roots have been penetrated into the society for a long time.
There are numerous reasons for widespread social evil. The most common is unemployment. Lack of employment throws the young generation into the void. This type of disappointment is very dangerous. Some of them turn towards unlawful activities and become terrorists. But most of them become drug addicts.
The dealer of drugs works with proper planning. They have their agents even in the educational departments. They induce the youngsters to use narcotics. This addiction leads them to death. The government should plan things sincerely. Death sentence should be given to the drug dealers. Government should take some steps to stop the trafficking of narcotics. The purpose of presenting here this letter is only that the students of Pakistan should know the defects of drug addiction. People should be aware of it.

Overpopulation
Rapidly increasing population is the most gigantic, formidable and intractable problem, which the world faces today. It is the cause of every environmental problem we face. Today Pakistan is the fifth most populous country in this world with approximately 220.8 million population. I am amazed that people do not draw a natural conclusion.
There are too many people on earth to support. Every human being needs to be fed, clothed, housed, educated and medically treated, and all these activities inevitably require fuel consumption and carbon output.
Studies show that poverty is one of the main causes of overpopulation, especially in countries where there are already issues of low literacy and a lack of resources. With the active assistance of NGOs, the current government must raise awareness about the alarming threat of overpopulation. Government should start family planning programs through different campaigns, restrict child marriages and provide education to the people and make different policies.
