Pakistan
is a blessing
After reading Indo-Pak history, I realise that, in fact, Pakistan is a blessing for all of us. I see most of our people saying that there is poverty, hunger, unemployment, insufficient facilities for health, educational problems so and so in Pakistan, then how we are free? For what purpose Hindustan was partitioned and Muslims were divided into borders? I must reply them that I acknowledge there is a pile of problems but if compared to India our problems are less because India has faced these kind of problems at double pace.
India is a giant country in South Asia, and home of over a billion people. It is so called the biggest democracy of the world. But, ground realties are altogether different. Current government of India led by a notorious extremist Modi who ill treats his Muslim subjects miserably. The land of India has become the hell for minorities. New Delhi the capital of this giant mastodon is centre of Muslim butchery. Many mosques have been demolished by RSS a terrorist organisation. So, Pakistan is a blessing for all of us and it is our responsibility to work enthusiastically for prosperity and stability of our dear homeland.

US-Taliban peace deal
The recent peace deal made between America and the Taliban is indeed a great breakthrough by and large. So far, there have been various reports from the global media circles about the Taliban group, sometimes positively and most of the time negatively in terms of terror menace. All the international media banners have been focusing on this positive side now that/given that present peace deal news has been taken positively at world stage.
In fact, the people in my native areas like Korkai, Tiruchendur, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Marthandam, Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu have been cherishing great moments like family functions, festivals, talking, laughing and feasting, all together in positive manners. Rumour-mongers apart, let there be no disturbance to the America-Taliban peace deal now. And yet again, it is the responsibility of all the world media houses and all the parties concerned/involved to keep this deal on the table/the right track extending a helping hand and working towards long-term growth and peace internationally.

Traffic issues in Karachi
Through your newspaper, I want to draw the attention of authorities to an important issue. As we all know, Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and also one of the most populated cities in the world and traffic issue is a great problem for the people.
Karachities have been facing numerous problems because of this traffic issue. Their lives have been made miserable. Traffic problem is not the problem of any particular area but in fact it is the problem persisting for long in the whole city. The main reason of the traffic hazard in Karachi is just because of pathetic construction of roads. Moreover, traffic police has added fuel to the fire while the number of vehicles is also increasing rapidly.
Quite literally, the daily lives of people are halted because of the dire traffic situation and people have to schedule their day according to the traffic condition at specific time. The government should emphasize strict adherence to traffic rules to avoid traffic accidents and in addition to all the traffic loss can be avoided.

Unsanitary condition
Through the columns of your widely circulated newspaper, I would like to bring to the notice of the civic authorities the unsanitary conditions created by the weekly ‘Tuesday Bazaar”. The vendors throw garbage indiscriminately in our locality. It goes without saying that this bazaar is good for middle and lower-middle-class buyers but it is a nuisance for the area residents. Right from the evening till midnight we have to undergo noise and traffic jams. But Wednesday is more hellish for us.
The road remains littered with vegetable and fruit discards, leaf plates with stinking leftover food. Polythene and paper wrappers remain floating on the road which takes a few days to settle down but Tuesday again arrives. It is hoped that the concerned authorities would take strict steps. Since cleanness is half faith, cleaning the area must be made mandatory for the vendors and the stall owners. Dustbins in different places must be placed. The vendors should be fined heavily if they fail to keep the road clean.

Corona virus and economy
Corona-virus is becoming a pandemic and the world is facing its negative consequences. Furthermore, the spread of virus has already infected more than 83,000 in around 50 countries across the globe. Moreover, the spread of virus is also negatively impacting the world economy. It is reported that due to corona virus fear five trillion loss has been witnessed in global stock market. Moreover, disruptions to international travel and supply chains, schools closure and cancellations of major events have hampered the outlook for the world economy.
The companies like Microsoft, Apple, Nike, United Airlines and Mastercard all are the victim of the Corona-virus. Furthermore, the world economy is already struggling from the US-China trade war. In addition, according to World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom, the virus could become a pandemic as the outbreak spreads to major developed economies like France and Germany. Similarly, Corona-virus might have adverse effects in Pakistan’s economy. Moreover, Pakistan has significant reliance on China. Furthermore, Pakistan sources the bulk of its raw material and capital goods from China. As Moody’s report predicted that the outbreak of the virus put pressure on growth and particularly in trade and tourism and through supply chain disruptions some other sectors might also disturb. However, government of Pakistan is doing its best to protect the country from the outbreak of the Corona-virus.

Transgender
One of the most sensitive social issues of Pakistan is discrimination and violence against the transgender community. Transgenders, also known as the “third” gender, are considered an abomination by the society. Transgenders represent a group of people who enjoy the least amount of respect and rights in Pakistan. Pakistani parents are insecure and believe it’s inappropriate for their child to interact with a transgender hence developing this feeling of reluctance towards them.
They are not considered equal and forced to live in a segregated society with their own kind in extreme poverty. Trangenders are being treated as if they are not even human. The government took some steps to ensure the safety and well-being of all Pakistani transgenders. It’s time to start treating them with respect and equality because they truly deserve it.
As Pakistani, we need to realize that this is not merely a war that these individuals have to fight, they are humans just like us and deserve as much of a right to good education, good job opportunities and fair and equal treatment as any other normal member of the community. We need to be the voice that speaks on their behalf, fights for their rights and makes living less painful for them.

3rd gender in our society
God has created three kinds of people in this world: one man, the other is woman and the third one is transgender. They are also human beings like us, so why doesn’t our society accept them? People in our society look them with weird eyes. If we look at the forms of educational institutions or a form of job, these forms have two columns: man and woman and no place for transgender. Why we don’t accept them, why we don’t call for the rights of the third gender in this society, why we don’t allow them to take their place. I want the people of this society to give the same respect that a man or woman gets here.
It is probably our weakness that we don’t put them in jobs or enroll them in schools for education, which is why they stand on the signal and beg for money from people. If we change our thinking and place them in this society, it will be successful in trying to build better and better society. They also walk with us in tandem with dignity in this society and show that we are proud of them by doing something in this society. I m a student of Karachi University and study in department of Mass Communications and I wish that the transgender community must be given due respect.
