Election concerns

As the election approaches, every politician is actively engaged in the political campaign. Despite the extreme cold weather, political activities are at their peak. Local politicians in Ghotki district, like their counterparts, are actively participating in the campaign.

However, it has been observed that some political parties and their representatives are making big promises, claiming to bring peace and prosperity to the region, similar to their past assertions. Yet, this time, the public’s attitude appears to be unsatisfied with most politicians.

Historically, many politicians have made promises but failed to deliver, and this sentiment is echoed in every corner of rural Sindh. This time, however, nobody can compel the public to cast their votes in favour of any particular candidate. The public has the right to choose their leader according to their wishes. Additionally, it has been noted that the law and order situation in Ghotki district is deteriorating day by day.

The conditions of roads, especially in Talka Ubauro and its nearby villages, are rough and broken. Social issues in these areas have remained unresolved for many years, prompting the people of Ghotki to question their local politicians, exercising their basic right.

Preparation for elections

Amidst the election a huge amount of supporters are finding the best way to support their leader, I think this time elections are going to be very difficult from 2018, it’s very difficult to predict who wins it’s all being mixed up supporters are on full enthusiasm and as elections are coming nearby politicians are giving their efforts for win, I have seen charts putting on walls, as elections are integral part of our lives, it is another feeling to support to chant for your leader with full zeal and dedication, but we all want a leader who gives a prosperous future to our country who can fulfil the expectations of people who can create a history for Pakistan, who not only give us promise but to fulfil, so we all want a secure, disciplined and peaceful Pakistan. extending my wishes for all of the candidates, may the best one win,

Cancer & Thalassemia

I am deeply concerned about a pressing issue that poses numerous challenges to survival: cancer treatment. It is one of the most pressing problems that people in Balochistan are facing today. It is surprising that individuals are dying from issues such as poor blood circulation and a lack of medicine.

The people of Balochistan are victims of numerous challenges related to cancer treatment and the availability of good facilities. It appears to be a very hazardous disease that can lead to immediate fatalities.

Living without basic requirements is not possible. Unfortunately, the concerned authorities have not adequately tackled the matter. In Balochistan, there are millions of cancer patients who need blood every month for discovery, and it might be challenging to obtain blood from the required group.

Nowadays, Thalassemia centres provide blood to patients, but there is still a shortage of blood due to a lack of public blood donations. This situation has created many hardships for cancer patients, and the government must address this matter immediately. The issue has been constantly overlooked by concerned authorities.

Shifting of holidays

Dear President, Prime Minister, Education Minister and School Principals,

I urgently draw your attention to the critical health condition of 10,061 school children, including 194 innocent lives battling pneumonia in Islamabad. Harsh weather conditions, especially freezing temperatures, exacerbate this alarming situation.

I appeal for a reconsideration of school closure timing, proposing a shift to the first half of January instead last week of December. This adjustment aims to mitigate health risks associated with extreme cold, ensuring the safety of our children.

This appeal seeks not only to address the immediate threat but also to prevent further loss in the future. Adjusting the holiday schedule, considering weather conditions, can significantly impact the health and safety of our young students.

Polio education

For many decades, polio has been a major public health concern in Pakistan. Despite ongoing efforts to eradicate the disease, it continues to pose a significant threat to the population, especially in remote and underprivileged areas. As a result, the country has placed a considerable emphasis on polio education. The government and organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) have been actively promoting the importance of polio vaccinations and preventing the spread of the disease through various initiatives and campaigns. The purpose of polio education is to raise awareness about polio symptoms, underscore the importance of routine immunizations and educate on maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation practices to prevent the virus from spreading. Polio education programs are frequently conducted in schools, mosques and community centres, targeting both children and adults. Despite facing challenges in reaching all segments of society due to cultural and social barriers, these efforts have been crucial in reducing the number of polio cases in Pakistan. It remains imperative to sustain these education initiatives to completely eradicate the disease from the country, ensuring a healthy future for its citizens.
