Child labour dilemma
Child labour is a widespread issue, where children are compelled to work at an early age, depriving them of a normal childhood, education, and overall well-being. Despite some legal restrictions, it persists globally. The primary causes include poverty and unemployment, as families rely on child labour for survival.
Lack of education also contributes, as uneducated parents prioritize short-term gains over their children’s long-term development. Additionally, industries exploit children for financial gains, paying them less than adults and taking advantage of their vulnerability. Eradicating child labour requires addressing these root causes and implementing effective policies globally.

Dolls against labour
Children are like delicate flowers. It is disheartening to witness the exploitation of innocent children who are forced to work instead of enjoying their days of laughter and enjoyment of childhood and receiving an education.
Child labour not only deprives children from their basic rights but also stops their physical, mental and emotional growth and development. Children involved in labour are often subjected to risky working conditions, long hours, and meagre wages which keep alive the cycle of poverty and inequality.
When I look around children doing the things which I being a 19 year old won’t do, literally breaks my heart that where as a nation we are going, people should stop keeping domestic child labour too like how you can order 7 year old little girl to wash your plates and at the other side enjoys your 7 year old daughter playing with the dolls?
It is important for us as a society to come together and take immediate action to eradicate child labour. This can be achieved through the implementation of stricter laws and regulations, increased access to quality education and the promotion of social programs that support vulnerable families. Furthermore, it is essential to raise awareness and educate the public about the harmful effects of child labour. By creating a society that values the well-being and future of every child.

Skill development
I am writing to express my concern regarding the persistent issue of unemployment, particularly among the youth. It is evident that the key to resolving this challenge lies in prioritizing skill development.
Initiatives that bridge the gap between education and industry requirements are crucial. By fostering vocational training programs, internships, and apprenticeships, we can equip our youth with the skills needed for the job market. This proactive approach will not only reduce unemployment but also contribute to economic growth.

Water pollution
Through the courtesy of your newspaper, I am writing to express my deep concern about a challenging issue – water pollution. This paramount problem has created multiple hardships for the citizens of Pakistan, adversely affecting the natural atmosphere. Unfortunately, enhancing pollution has become a common occurrence in today’s modern era.
Water pollution is a serious matter that the entire Pakistani population has faced rapidly. Regrettably, the government has not adequately addressed this alarming issue, leading to numerous challenges affecting the fundamental aspects of life.
The consequences of water pollution are far-reaching. Pakistan is one of the countries with the highest reported water pollution cases globally. This has resulted in the emergence of many diseases that pose a hazard to the public. I earnestly implore the government to thoroughly investigate and address this pressing issue promptly. Immediate improvement is imperative for the well-being of our nation.
