Electricity crisis
Through this letter I express grave concern over current electricity crisis that my small village Balghter is facing. Due to less power supply we are facing frequent power failures causing disruptions in our daily lives. The persistent crisis we are experiencing not only inconveniences citizens but also poses significant risks to economic stability. Current situation demands immediate attention and a collective effort from all stakeholders.

Hapless province
Balochistan is getting worse with each passing day. The conflict of Wadh, Khuzdar district for last many months has made people more worried about that area. It is a dispute started by a criminal named Shafiq Mengal whose men are forcibly occupying lands belonging to tribal chief and BNP-M president Akhtar Mengal. Both sides are heavily armed and powerful which could lead situation further out of control. Former chief minister Aslam Raisani had stepped in to make a peace between them, yet apparently his efforts have failed.
There can’t be a peaceful solution in present situation if people like Shafiq Mengal are allowed to move freely despite his involvement in murders, abductions, robberies and many more crimes. Locals still don’t want to talk about him since he inflicted terror in Khuzdar district by target killing journalists, teachers and doctors. His name was also involved in Tootak mass graves of missing persons case and there is also evidence about it yet state refuses to take action against him.

Teenagers’ behaviour
I am writing this letter to express my growing concern about behaviour of teenagers in our society. It seems that many teenagers today are becoming increasingly detached from face-to-face interactions. The prevalence of smart phones and social media platforms has given rise to a virtual world that often takes precedence over genuine human connections.
As a result, essential communication and social skills are suffering, leading to a generation that struggles to build meaningful relationships and express empathy. Additionally, the rise in cyber bullying is alarming. Behind the perceived anonymity of screens, some teenagers engage in hurtful behaviours that can have severe consequences on their peers’ mental and emotional well-being. We must educate our youth about importance of responsible online behaviour and potential harm that comes from cyber bullying. Another disconcerting trend is the apparent lack of respect for elders. Teachers, parents and other adults who once commanded respect now face defiance and disobedience from teenagers.
While it’s natural for adolescents to assert their independence, this should not translate into blatant disrespect. We need to foster a culture that values authority while encouraging healthy discussions and exchanges of ideas. Furthermore, disregard for personal responsibility and accountability is troubling. Some teenagers engage in risky behaviours without fully comprehending the potential repercussions of their actions. We should promote programmes that instil a sense of responsibility and educate them on consequences of their choices. The issue needs effective attention.

Terrorism
on the rise
Terrorism has remained a major problem in Pakistan causing thousands of innocent people to lose their lives. It’s important for government and people to work together to find ways to prevent terrorism and promote peace. Parents can help protect their children from terrorism by teaching them about safety measures, such as what to do in case of an emergency. They can also educate their children about dangers of extremist ideologies and encourage them to think critically and question what they hear. Additionally, parents can help their children develop a strong sense of identity and belonging, which can help protect them from the lure of extremist groups. There is no one solution to overcoming terrorism, but some ways to combat it include promoting education, creating job opportunities and increasing security measures. It’s also important to address underlying causes of terrorism, such as poverty and political instability. Terrorism is a complex problem that requires a multifaceted solution. It’s important for everyone to work together to address underlying causes of terrorism and promote peace and stability.

Causes of malnutrition
Under-nourishment and iron deficiency causes serious health issues that affect millions of people worldwide. Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anaemia, a condition that results from a lack of red blood cells in the body. Anaemia can cause fatigue, weakness, and other symptoms that can significantly impact a person’s quality of life.
The inadequacy of vital nutrients in the diet can also lead to deficiencies in other important vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin A, iodine, and zinc. These deficiencies can cause a range of health problems, including impaired growth and development, weakened immune system, and increased risk of infection Fortunately, these health concerns can be prevented and treated through proper nutrition and supplementation. Eating a balanced diet that includes a variety of foods rich in iron, such as meat, fish, poultry, and milk, can help prevent specific nutrient deficiencies. Additionally, taking supplements and health diet under the guidance of a healthcare professional can help treat iron deficiency anaemia.
To address implications of nutrient insufficiency, it is crucial to recognise and take action against these health risks. By understanding potential consequences and implementing proactive measures, we can significantly improve overall health and well-being.
