Misuse of loud speakers!

In the present days when good governance is merely a dream and things are getting worse, one wonders if citizens’ complaints will ever be heard or whether we ordinary people have to prove our political affiliations before we are even considered worthy of any attention. Still, I would like to make a vain attempt at complaining about the noise pollution in our society.

It seems that most of the mosques are taking full advantage of the lack of control to misuse loudspeakers. This is especially true on Fridays when a constant barrage is delivered for almost two hours (from 12:30 to 14:30) and even at night after evening prayers.

On top of that, nearly every motorcyclist has, it seems, got a free license to give vent to his exhaust and thus the streets are so noisy that it is difficult to hear anybody even inside homes. To make things even worse every other vegetable and fruit vendor (rehriwallah) now has loud-speakers installed to advertise his wares. Combine this with the ice cream vendors and lately, even professional beggars have an audio system installed on their wheelchairs or carts.

Can we ever expect any government to take notice or are we forever condemned to hear their noises as they squabble amongst themselves at the expense of their culture and society? Pretty soon we will all become psychiatric patients with all such disturbing noises if we have not succumbed already.

Attack on Masjid-e-Aqsa!

I am writing to express my deep concern and sadness regarding the recent attack on Masjid Al-Aqsa. As one of the holiest sites in Islam, it is a place of great significance and importance to millions of Muslims around the world. The attack on this sacred site is an affront not only to the Muslim community but to all people who value religious freedom and respect for places of worship. I urge the international community to take swift and decisive action to ensure that such attacks do not occur again in the future. It must wake up to the reality that the continued violence and aggression towards Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian people is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

The Government of Pakistan must take a leadership role in promoting peace, stability and understanding in that part of the world. This includes working towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict between Israel and Palestine and ensuring that the rights and dignity of all people are respected.

Fear based learning

Educational reforms breed intellectuality and mental growth among students, and youth is the only indispensable ornamental segment of society that enshrines the entire world with the sparkling light of education

The journey of prosperity and growth of the nation commences from the educational institutes. On the one hand, if youth, however, is well educated then the country will steer towards great inevitable development, on the other, an illiterate nation somewhat will drown the country despite upholding. Additionally, in countless schools, according to a survey, students leave the classroom merely because of harsh treatment that drives fear-based learning. Teachers, technically, rely on fear-based learning majorly to maintain order, whereas crunching their intellectuality and mental growth since their very embryonic stage.

This kind of way to teach ought to be altered promptly, and the proper schooling and well-trained teachers will change this course. Precisely, the education ministers and concerned authorities should bring educational reforms and should bring an end to fear-based learning. So the country, the land of peace, will progress in every sort of development if it brings reforms in education as the developed countries did each pith and marrow of schooling.

Blind woman lying on the constitution avenue

A joke when a confused foreigner after returning from Pakistan wanted to know the meaning of “Anni Paiee Hoye Aye” a buy word he heard everywhere he went. A Pakistani friend explains that 1973 code is lying on constitution avenue and buggered by lawmakers, interpreters of law and from hilly houses?

How and why our sovereignty has been pushed into a dead end tunnel and poor masses treated like herd in orphanage, forced to look for charity, Zakat and alms when the powerful bulls have broken the walls of china shop to declare its obituary. After the cipher scam can somebody decipher our above cited national dilemma?

Education crisis

Despite being one of the largest and important sectors in the country, education is facing a number of challenges that are hindering the progress and development of our young generation. Firstly, there is a shortage of qualified teachers in parts of the country. This is due to low salaries and poor working conditions, which are causing many skilled teachers to seek employment elsewhere. This is having a negative impact on the quality of education that students are receiving. Secondly, the lack of investment in education infrastructure is also a major issue. Many schools do not have access to basic facilities such as clean drinking water, sanitation and electricity. This not only affects the learning environment but also puts the health and safety of students at risk. Finally, the education system is not aligned with the changing needs of the 21st century. The curriculum is outdated and does not prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. This is limiting their future potential and opportunities for success.I believe that it is the duty of the government and society as a whole to address these issues and make education a top priority. This can be achieved through increased investment in education, better working conditions for teachers and a reform of the education system to make it more relevant and effective.
