Co-education
As a citizen of Pakistan, I would like to express my concerns about current state of co-education in our country. Despite progress made in recent decades, co-education in Pakistan still faces numerous challenges. One major issue is lack of proper infrastructure and facilities for co-educational institutions. This makes it difficult for students to learn and for educators to provide quality education.
Another issue is lack of proper training for educators and staff on how to handle unique challenges of co-education. This can lead to a lack of understanding and sensitivity towards students of both genders, which can create an uncomfortable and even hostile learning environment.
Additionally, lack of awareness and understanding of importance and benefits of co-education among certain segments of society can also be a hindrance to its progress. This can lead to resistance and even violence towards co-educational institutions, putting safety and well being of students and staff at risk.
It is important to acknowledge these challenges and take steps to address them. Proper investment in infrastructure, training and awareness campaigns can help to ensure that co-education in Pakistan is accessible and successful for all students.

Gas load shedding
As a student of NED University and a citizen of Pakistan I find it to be my responsibility to highlight issues of the people. Recently there was news that Qatar has backed out of the 10 year gas contract with Pakistan. To see the issue at its core, we come to find out that we have run out of reserves to provide gas to the consumers. The citizens of Karachi are facing the issue at hand since Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced that domestic consumers would get gas only for total of eight hours in a day.
The situation isn’t different in other city areas. A resident of Malir said that there’s no gas supply in the neighbourhood for almost a month. In some ways Karachiites are deprived of most of the resources. With increasing water crises the gas load shedding just adds to their many other problems. Government should take serious notice of these issues and provide us with some alternate solutions so that people can be free from worries of basic necessities of life and focus on other areas of growth.

Unhygienic food
I am writing to express my concern about lack of emphasis on hygienic food practices in Pakistan. It is alarming to see number of food establishments that do not adhere to basic food safety standards. This not only puts health of consumers at risk, but also has a negative impact on country’s reputation as a tourist destination.
One of the main issues is lack of proper sanitation in many food preparation areas. This can lead to contamination of food with harmful bacteria, which can cause serious illnesses. Additionally, many street vendors and small restaurants do not have proper storage facilities for food, leading to spoilage and further contamination. Another issue is widespread use of artificial preservatives and harmful chemicals in food. These substances can have detrimental effects on human health and government should strictly regulate their usage.
This can be done by increasing inspections of food outlets, implementing stricter regulations and penalties for violators, and providing education and training on food safety for food handlers. By taking these steps, we can ensure that food we consume is safe and hygienic.

Political instability
Imran Khan was the first prime minister who was ousted by a vote of no confidence. He had taken the office of prime minister for five years but Pakistan’s major opposition parties established Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in 2020.
The opposition blamed governance and economic failures under Khan’s leadership, yet main reason was that Khan had lost support of the Pakistan army, which helped him come to power.
There were several factors responsible for the rift between Khan and the army. Pakistan growing political tensions and the race for power have turned the country into a political flashpoint.
And it doesn’t address problems of common Pakistanis, who are continuously paying the price for political instability.

Health problems
I am writing this letter to express my concern about health problems caused by consuming fast food. Studies have shown that eating fast food could only have bad effect. This would explain why there is so much obesity in people nowadays. Obesity in children and younger generation has increased dramatically after fast food industry developed. The junk food may lead to different health issues as it’s high in calories, fat, saturated and trans fat.
Further more, fast food contains little amount of nutrient that are useful to human body. Eating this kind of food causes fatty substance building inside the body. Some printed advice about bad effects of fast food on humans should be kept at various locations to spread the message.
