Unemployment
In today’s Pakistan students are coming out of educational institutions yet get themselves involved in illegal acts like robbery, selling/taking drugs, committing suicides and many other activities that can negatively effect their lives. Furthermore after doing M.Phil, PhD, Masters they are sitting at their homes jobless.
Due to this situation parents are not willing to admit their children in educational institutions because they know that after getting their degrees they will not get any jobs and it is just wasting of parent’s moneys and time. My request to government to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Aurat March
It is my concern to awaken the government to take steps with regard to the upcoming Aurat March. It is clearly against the Islamic laws to defame the ideology of gender female in such a way. We all know that International Women’s Day will be celebrated on March 8th globally, though, this idea of all women gathering on the roads and other public spots is inappropriate and against the ideology of Islam. Steps must be taken to present the actual basis of women’s rights and not this so-called modern feminism that the elite class has introduced to be in the limelight.
Seminars and public awareness events must be held to present the actual ideas of women’s rights in the peripheries of Islam. The real victims of gender-based discrimination, domestic violence, rape and other sexual assaults and many more unequal encounters are left unseen due to this feminist propaganda. We need to stand against this movement and shall work on the actual ideas that are based on equal human rights.

Japan’s initiative for ruralisation
Japan has offered families who live in Tokyo 1 million yen (US $7500) approximately PKR 1.8m per child to move out of the capital to specific towns and villages. According to Japanese officials, it will be revived and introduced in April in areas with declining birth rates and aging population.
In addition to receive benefits the families must match criteria, to move out from greater Tokyo to mountain area within city’s boundaries. About 1300 municipalities have joined this scheme offer. Astonishingly, officials confirmed that scheme would help to reduce pressure on public services in Tokyo, which has a population of 35 million. Such programmes and initiatives must be owned by countries like Pakistan, India and Bangladesh for their populous cities like Karachi, Mumbai and Dhaka respectively to improve transport and traffic system to achieve pollution free metropolitans.

Violation of traffic rules
Observing traffic rules and regulations play a vital role in reducing road accidents yet unfortunately in Turbat city nobody obeys traffic rules. As a result dozen of accidents take place on daily basis. However, I fail to understand that why people risk their lives and those of their loved ones by coming out on streets without proper lights on their vehicle.
The traffic police needs to punish those who break traffic rules making it obligatory for every vehicle that their taillight and indicator must be in working conditions. Motorcyclist must wear safety helmets. By adopting these steps road accidents will no doubt decrease. Further more, it is really heart-breaking that same people who are not obeying rules here, when they go abroad immediately start abiding by all traffic rules?

Free education for everyone
A child must receive education so as to develop social awareness, increase knowledge, better decision-making skills and proficiency in work thus becoming a better citizen. All the people of a country must be educated and develop good personal traits for collective progress and prosperity. If education is free, then country will become developed and head for right direction. Only through education we can make our dreams come true, as without education we cannot achieve anything. Nowadays it is need of everyone to earn a living for which education is very important.

Quit smoking
Smoking is a bad and destructive habit because cigarettes contain dangerous and addictive chemicals. People start smoking for different reasons. Some people think it looks cool. And some other starts because their family members and friends mostly smoke. Among students smoking rate is high in school seniors and this in turn increased odds for junior students. Prevention programmes should target such schools where students are at high risk.

Unarmed should not resist
Street crimes are on steady rise in metropolis despite snap checking and patrolling by law enforcement agencies. Looters are targeting precious lives of people. The other day a youth was gunned down in North Karachi at midnight when he returned from a wedding ceremony, as he was a movie-maker. He was targeted just outside his house when he resisted and refused to hand over his expensive camera to armed unidentified persons. He must have loved camera that was why he resisted although he was not armed with weapons. What a pity that a young boy, working to earn livelihood was gunned down mercilessly. It is incomprehensible that how snatchers carry unlicensed weapons in the city despite patrolling by law enforcement agencies.
The question arises for how long innocent citizens would face this ordeal? Street crimes could be controlled if unlicensed weapons were recovered from every corner of the city and stop its supply. An ultimatum should be given to people of metropolis with a warning to submit unlicensed weapons by certain period of time otherwise punitive action would be taken. In the meanwhile, citizens should not resist before armed persons, as life is a precious gift of God.
