Veteran journalist Talat Aslam passes away at 67

Karachi: Renowned veteran journalist Talat Aslam passed away at the age of 67.

Throughout his long journalistic career, Talat Aslam remained affiliated with a number of the country’s prominent newspapers and magazines.


Following his death, prominent politicians, journalists, and people from all walks of life took to social media to express their sadness and condolences.

Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman took to Twitter to express her condolences.

Human Right Commission of Pakistan said in a tweet that Aslam will be “remembered for his wit and warmth, and for mentoring scores of young journalists.”
