Vegetable exports increase 21.11% in 7 months: SBP


The exports of vegetables products from the country witnessed an increase of 21.11 percent during the first seven months of fiscal year 2021-22 as compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Pakistan exported vegetables products worth $ 2110.786 million during July-January (2021-22) against the exports of $ 1742.815 million during July-Jan (2020-21), showing growth 21.11 percent, according to the data issued by the SBP. The food commodities that contributed in positive growth of vegetable exports included edible vegetables, export of which grew from $112.613 million last year to $131.461 million during the fiscal year under review, showing increase of 16.73 percent.—APP
