Vice-Chancellor of Kohsar University Murree, Prof Dr Habib Bokhari on Tuesday visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and discussed possible avenues of mutual collaboration between the two universities with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Athar Mahboob.
He called on Vice-Chancellor IUB Prof Dr Athar Mahboob at the latter’s office at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus.
Both sides agreed to sign an MoU of cooperation and collaboration in tourism and hospitality management areas as well as to start faculty and student exchange between the two institutions. Athar Mahboob assured his full support to the newly established university.
Later, the Vice-Chancellor Kohsar University visited Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies and interacted with Director Prof Dr Tanveer Hussain Turabi and faculty members.
He was briefed about research on Cholistani flora and fauna and collaboration with Houbara Foundation International for conservation of Cholistani wildlife. Bokhari also visited the Department of Tourism.
