Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that fisheries sector must concentrate on value addition in sea food exports so to realize its actual potential with regards to enhancement of its export.He was talking to a delegation of Pakistan Fisheries Exporters’ Association at Governor House on Monday. Chairman Korangi Fish Harbour Capt (R) Rizwan was also present on occasion. The governor further said that seafood exporter must also promote aquaculture and exports of the same to capture the international market. Matters regarding enhancement of exports of sea food from Pakistan, problems of fisheries sector, importance of value addition and aqua culture were discussed in detail during the meeting. The Governor said that a meeting would soon we held to consider problems of fisheries sector. The meeting would be attended by Federal Ministers Commerce and Maritime Affairs, he added.
