KUWAIT CITY – The Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that several US military aircraft crashed on Monday amid ongoing military escalation in Middle East which sparked after the US-Israel launched attack against Iran.
A spokesperson for the minister said the relevant authorities immediately initiated search and rescue procedures, whereby the crews were evacuated and transferred to the hospital to check on their health status and provide the necessary medical care, noting that their condition is stable.
The spokesperson added that direct coordination was conducted with the friendly US forces regarding the circumstances of the incident, and joint technical measures were taken.
He affirmed that the concerned authorities are following up on the investigations to determine the causes of the incident, calling for information to be obtained from its official sources.
Earlier, reports emerged that a US fighter jet, F-15, crashed in Kuwait under unclear circumstances amid ongoing military escalation between Iran, Israel and the US.
While both the US and Kuwait had to officially confirm the incident at that time, Russian media reported that the pilot successfully ejected before the jet crashed.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the F-15 fighter jet descending with flames trailing behind it.
The pilot was reportedly injured and has been transported to the hospital for treatment.

This incident follows heightened tensions in the region after the U. and Israel launched strikes on Iran, which led to retaliatory attacks from Iran on US military bases in the Gulf.
Iran’s military has claimed that it successfully incapacitated a U.S. base in Kuwait during these attacks.
