Urea fertilizer sales centres set up

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Allah Ditta Warraich has said that in order to ensure provision of urea fertilizer to farmers on control rates, special sale centres have been setup at union council level while special monitoring team have also been constituted to supervise sale of fertilizer.

While addressing a meeting of fertilizer dealers at District Complex, on Monday, he said that 24 sale points were established at union council level and urea fertilizer was available at the rate of Rs.1850 per bag at these sales points.

He also said that staff of agriculture and revenue departments had been deputed to maintain record of fertilizer and to check agriculture record of farmers so that sale of fertilizer could be ensured transparent.
