ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chalked out a five-year National Economic Transformational Plan 2024-29 titled “Uran Pakistan: Homegrown National Economic Plan that aims to bring economic reforms in the country of over 240 million.
The premier unveiled a new and ambitious economic reform initiative called “Uran Pakistan,” aimed at driving growth and improving the lives of the nation’s citizens. The much-anticipated five-year national economic plan is designed to transition Pakistan from its current phase of macroeconomic stability to long-term, sustainable growth.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb shared plan’s core objective to focus on export-driven growth, which aims to avoid the country’s history of boom-and-bust cycles. In a statement, he said Uran Pakistan is a pivotal moment for the country’s future, and stressed growth in private sector will play critical role in success of this agenda.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar sheds light on all-inclusive approach to economic development. He assured that the reforms will not only target macroeconomic goals but also work to improve the lives of ordinary Pakistanis. The plan is seen as a significant step forward for the country’s economic stability and growth.
