PAKISTAN has been a victim of terrorism for more than two decades and has paid a heavy price in its endeavours to fight terrorism. Pakistani people have suffered greatly at the hands of terrorists and no country should have to suffer such acts of terror. After the US withdrawal and Afghan Taliban take over, it was expected that peace would prevail in the region however time has proved it otherwise. A sharp surge in terrorist activities in Pakistan has proved Afghan Taliban support and facilitation to TTP.

Pakistan has time and again urged Afghan Interim Govt to take meaningful action against terrorists using Afghan soil to launch attacks inside Pakistan. UN Security Council 33rd report has validated Pakistan’s stance and has highlighted the growing activities of AQ, ISKP, TTP inside Afghanistan. As per Doha accord, it was the obligation of Afghan Interim Govt to not allow the use of its soil for terrorism in Pakistan. However, the Taliban government’s criminal negligence of looking the other way on TTP, ISKP terrorist activities is proof that militants are enjoying their full patronage.

Keeping in view the long standing animosity between India and Pakistan, India does not leave any stone unturned to entangle Pakistan in the web of terrorism hence, the presence of terrorist havens in Afghanistan provided it a golden opportunity in the shape of TTP and ISKP. Under the Modi regime, RAW’s pursuit of nefarious designs has now spread globally. This has been proved by what Indian Intelligence did in the UK, Canada and the US. Indian Intelligence agencies have developed a nexus with terrorists’ organizations operating from Afghanistan. TTP and ISKP are being trained and sponsored for spreading terrorism inside Pakistan.

Besides this, India, to prove itself as the main partner of the world community in their efforts for rebuilding Afghanistan, has invested in building infrastructure, roads and dams. However, as per the track record of India this can be perceived as a non kinetic strategy to tarnish  Pakistan’s image. On one side, it is using its proxies against Pakistan while on the other side, it is busy in polluting the minds of Afghans against Pakistan by using its soft power. Therefore, one can say that  India has applied a two prong strategy for achieving its objective.

Pakistan has, repeatedly, shared irrefutable evidence of India running dozens of training camps in Afghanistan for multiple globally outlawed militant groups to plot terrorism on Pakistani soil. Undeniable evidence reveals that Indian embassies and consulates operating along Pakistan’s borders have become hubs of terror sponsorship against Pakistan. Besides Pakistan,  India-militant nexus is a common threat to regional and global peace as the menace of terrorism knows no bounds. Therefore the world community should take practical steps to contain India and stop looking at it from the lens of a bigger consumer market.  The recent act of transnational killings and plotting in Canada, Pakistan and US  are open and shut cases  to rein in India before it gets too late.
