Metrobus employees went on strike on Saturday over non-receipt of their salaries. The angry worker disembarked the Passengers near Bhati Chowk and Metro-bus service from Shahdara to Gajju-matta was suspended.
It is worth mentioning here that Metro bus employees in Rawalpindi were also on strike for non-receipt of salaries for last three months. Bus service is suspended. Metro bus employees in Lahore have also started protesting by stopping vehicles.
Passengers were taken off Metro bus near Bhati Chowk, from Shahdara. Metro-bus service has been shut down, and protests are raging in support of their demands.
Police officials say they will act on the instructions of the Metro Bus Service administration and take action against anyone who violates the bus rules.
