University of Management and Technology (UMT) HR Department organized Long Service Award Ceremony to commemorate and honor the long-serving and dedicated employees who have been working for 10,15,20 or over 25 years.
The ceremony was attended by President UMT Ibrahim Hassan Murad, Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza, Director HR Brigadier R Naveed Zaman, Dr. Mujahid Kamran, Registrar UMT Saleem Ata, and other staff members and faculty.
Speaking on the occasion, President UMT Ibrahim Murad said that at UMT we are all working together as one family. He said that working in any organization requires a strong affection towards it which is present in all the staff and faculty of UMT.
“We consider ourselves lucky because we are all working as a family in a big organization i.e. UMT,” said Ibrahim Murad. He also congratulated all the employees who received the Long Service Award at the event and urged them to work with the same dedication.
In the end, he said that the success of UMT is the success of Pakistan. UMT is indeed very fortunate to have staff members whose many years of dedication, commitment, and loyalty have shaped and contributed towards the success of the institution; he added.
Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza expressed that UMT is one of the best universities in Asia. He said that the praise for UMT goes directly to the tireless efforts of the founder of UMT Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad (Shaheed). He further said that the staff and faculty have a big hand in the success of UMT.
Addressing the participants, he also said that we all have to work together for the further development of this institution, and for this, we all have to work in the right direction.
Rector also shared that all employees are important members of the organization and their abilities and contributions are of paramount importance for the continued success of UMT there UMT management will also take care of them through any way.
At the end of the ceremony, President UMT Ibrahim Murad distributed long service awards among the long service employees.
