Staff Reporter Daughter of veteran actor, director, writer and comedian Umar Sharif, Hina Sharif passed away in Lahore, after suffering a brief illness. According to the show promoter, Rehan Siddiqui, Umar Sharif who is in the United States, has not been informed about Hina’s death. He has been only told that she is critically ill. Upon hearing about his daughter’s illness Umar Sharif has cancelled the tour in the US. The veteran entertainer who was in Houston, US, is returning to Pakistan. According to the sources, Hina Sharif was suffering from a Kidney infection and fell critically ill a week ago. She was being treated at the hospital. As being reported, she was the administrator of the “Maa” Hospital in Orangi Town, Karachi. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Mayor Waseem Akhtar and the showbiz celebrities have expressed their grief over the sad demise of Umer Sharif’s daughter.
