In order to ensure peace during the holy month of Muharram, Ulem and Zakreen should deliver lesson of tolerance, unity, brotherhood and interfaith harmony to people in their sermons while with the cooperation of members peace committee, Ulema belongs to different school of thought, traders, journalists and civil society, ideal and traditional atmosphere of tolerance, unity and interfaith harmony would be maintained during the holy month of Muharram in the district.
These views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Allah Ditta Warraich and District Police Officer Hafizabad Sardar Mavarhan Khan while addressing the meeting of peace committee. Addressing the meeting, DC said that district administration has finalised all security arrangements in the district to maintain peace in the district during the holy month of Muharram.
He stressed the Ulema to shun their sectarian differences and to play their pivotal role for promoting religious brotherhood, unity and tolerance among people for failing nefarious agenda of anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan forces.
He appealed the Ulema and members of peace committee to strengthen their coordination with district administration and police so that any issue raised in the district could be addressed timely
DPO informed on this occasion that fool proof security arrangement would be made for providing protection to participants of mourner processions and Majalis in the district. The Ulema belongs to different sects assured that they would continue their traditional cooperation with district administration and police.
