ISLAMABAD – A massive blow is in the offing for the Pakistani students planning to go to the United Kingdom for study as England universities have decided to increase the tuition fee.
Reports said the tuition fee will be increased from April 2025 in line with rising inflation in the country as the educational are making efforts to deal with financial challenges.
A huge number of students from Pakistan and other countries travel to UK, which houses top-ranked universities, for education and later explore employment opportunities.
Data shared by UK Home Office and other sources showed the number of Pakistani students applying for study visas has been increasing significantly. In the 2022-23 academic year, the number of Pakistani students going to England on study visas crossed the 21,000-level.
Besides the tuition fee, the students have to bear the expense of accommodation and food. The planned increase in tuition fee will create more problems for them.
UK Universities New Tuition Fee from April 2025
The UK universities have decided to increase the tuition fee from April 2025. Report said the fee will be increased by 285 pounds, fixing the tuition fee at 9,535 pounds.
Media reports have stated that tuition fees were frozen at a maximum of 9,250 pounds since 2017.
On the other hand, students of the University of Leads said that revising up the tuition fee would affect the poor students.
