UET Swat to have joint ventures with Utah and Cambridge universities

The most backward area of Barikottehsil of Swat district is now becoming an education hub where after the approval of Engineering University Campus and Scouts Center, consultations are being held on construction of Agriculture University Campus as well.

The Engineering University Barikot campus to offer Research in Biotechnology and Civil Engineering whereas it’s best location will provide an environment for higher education to the youth of adjoining districts as well.

“Making higher education accessible to every youth is part of the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Only by promoting higher education and research can we achieve goals of development.

Focusing on backward areas as per the vision of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan,” said Dr. Amjad Ali, Provincial Minister for Housing, during a visit to the University of Engineering and Applied Sciences Swat project site at Barokit Campus on Thursday.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Housing paid a detailed visit to the campus project site and inspected the ongoing work.
