The UBG, by exerting all efforts and resources, uplifted the image of FPCCI making it a true professional apex body of the private sector which was devoted, dedicated, transparent and committed to resolving the issues of the business community across Pakistan, says a press release.
The continuity of the transparent policy has resulted in emerging FPCCI as voice of all trade bodies including all chambers, trade associations, small chambers, women CCI, small associations for commerce, industry, service, agriculture.
Uplifting the FPCCI image on International level The UBG has uplifted the image of FPCCI on national and international level particularly on international forms e.g. Islamic CCI, SAARC CCI, ECO CCI, D-8 CCI, CACCI, Shanghai Business Council, Commonwealth etc.
Its efforts has resulted in achieving the President-ship of D-8 CCI,ECO CCI, and SAARC CCI. UBG exerted efforts for FPCCI legitimate right to get the membership of Shanghai Business Council.
UBG has kept all FPCCI Business Councils with different countries activated and organized large number of joint business councils meetings with FPCCI foreign counterparts.
It kept FPCCI liaison with all international forms e.g. GIZ, JETRO, EU, SAARC, ECO, OIC , D-8, SCO. etc.
UBG was able to make FPCCI Councils for SME, Women, CPEC, GSP Plus, Hilal Products, FTAs/PTAs to resolve issues and make necessary recommendations for promotion of the concerned sectors.
It also introduced induction of professional people in the standing committees of FPCCI on different sectors resulting in presentation of consolidated recommendations to the concerned ministries.
